Remember past deliverances, when Jesus hooked you up so much it left you speechless?  If Jesus had come to your home and sat on your couch and said ‘Child, what do you want me to do for you?’  You would have listed all your desires for the current situation you were faced with.  Then He blesses you and His blessing is 100 times better than what your puny brain had come up with as your perfect solution!

That’s why God tells us His ways are not our ways.  We could never imagine on God’s level.  That being said…. Imagine in your little human imagination what Heaven is going to be like.  Again, He told us: eye has not seen, nor ear heard what he has planned for us.

My saved dad went to Heaven 10/9/95 at the age of 88.  I wondered if his mansion is down the street from mine??

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

I Corinthians 2:9

Uggh… now I understand what the man who begged Jesus to heal his son meant! (found in Mark 9) Jesus said all things are possible to those who believe. The man said: Lord I believe, help my unbelief. Huh? He said he believed and immediately said help his unbelief. He was having a FAITH ATTACK. I’m there right now.

But I must remember: Peter really did walk on the water. He only began to sink once he took his eyes off of Jesus and looked at the raging waves. Matthew 14: 29-33 tells us…..So Jesus said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”

And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God.”

I’ve got to remember: God has never let me down, EVER.

Fear not little one.

Here is an excerpt from my book:

Life is a Faithwalk.  Navigating is Easier with Jesus.

While sitting next to the Detroit River one summer evening, I saw a flock of geese swimming. I counted and found there were thirty-two of them. They formed a straight line, one right behind the other.

There was no pushing or shoving, and no goose tried to cut in line. They all moved at the same pace, in an excellent display of follow-the-leader.

When all of the geese were out of the water, they walked about twenty feet, staying in line, and then began spreading out to eat. There was no jealousy, anger, or tension—just peace and quiet as they ate their dinner. Once everyone was finished eating, they got back in line and marched back to the water, again with no pushing or shoving. Too bad humans can’t get along like birds!

That scene provided yet another opportunity for me to be mesmerized by our awesome Creator. God put the instinct in the birds to make them behave like this when He made them. Thousands of years later, they’re still acting the same way. How would our lives be different if we behaved the way God intended for us to behave? Hmm …

Hello Bloggers! This is my FIRST post! {the crowd roars} ha ha. Let’s see, talk about myself? Ok – Lived in Detroit, MI my whole life. I was married for 11 years, been divorced for 10. No kids. Two dogs: Sabreen (9) and KoKo (4).

In my church, I am involved in Sunday School and the Mission department.  I have loved studying the Bible for decades, especially end time prophesies and how they tie into all the crazy, sometimes scary, events that we are seeing almost daily. God has told us!

I think a lot of my posts will be about Christianity, reflections on people, how to navigate this crazy life. There’ll be items I pass along about the bizarre events going on these days. Also, I could talk about the joys and pains of my new life, as a published author. I will also post excerpts from my book: Life is a Faithwalk – Navigating is Easier with Jesus.

Any suggestions on this brave new world of blogging would be much appreciated. I think I will review some to get the hang of it, decide how long they should be, how often to write, what to write about. You know, the nitty gritty of it all.

Well, signing off for now.
